January 26, 2023 Charitable Event

On Thursday January 26th Wilmette Park Masonic Lodge #931 volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, a Christian non-profit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The volunteer event was a success with members of the Lodge coming together to package thousands of meals for those in need.

Charity is an important aspect of Freemasonry. One of the main principles of Freemasonry is to practice charity and care for the less fortunate. Our organization encourages its members to be active in their communities and to support charitable causes.

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization that is committed to providing nutritious meals to children in need around the world. The organization was founded in 1987 and has since sent over 2 billion meals to more than 70 countries. The meals are specially formulated to meet the needs of malnourished children and are packaged and shipped by volunteers.

The Wilmette Park Lodge No. 931’s volunteer event led by Worshipful Master Matthew Scaro at Feed My Starving Children is a perfect example of how the organization lives up to its principles of charity and helping those in need. The members’ actions not only provide immediate relief to those who are hungry, but also make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their communities. This is just one of the many ways that Wilmette Park Lodge and Masonry as a whole makes a positive difference in the world.

We are proud to have helped feed 74 children in Honduras for an entire year!
